Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Gillian Katherine De Mesa has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Nueva Vizcaya. The 25-year-old stunning beauty believes she is ready to be Miss Universe Philippines as she is experienced enough to be an empowered woman who can inspire and touch people’s lives into building greater self-confidence.

Recently, Gillian Katherine De Mesa, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the vice governor Jose “Tam-an” Tomas, Sr. and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on 14th March 2022. Mesa, in her message to the members of the Sanggunian, requested the support of the officials and the Novo Vizcayanos in her bid to get the Miss Universe Philippines crown. It has been almost 60 years since the last Miss Universe Philippines came from Nueva Vizcaya.

Mesa talks about breaking stereotypes and double standards in today’s society for women and wishes to tackle these issues through her reign, if she becomes Miss Universe Philippines 2022. The stunning Filipino definitely has the beauty and grace to move forward in the competition.
