The Miss Universe Philippines organization has recently announced a new twist where two among the upcoming Top 30 finalists will be chosen from the Kumuniverse, Kumu app’s newest campaign, a chance for aspirants to become an official candidate of the national pageant.

While the pageant has gained a lot of fans over a short period of existence, many beauty queens have been anticipated to join this year among wishlists and favourites. One such queen who is coming back for the opportunity to represent Philippines internationally is Emmanuelle Vera. The diva most recently represented Philippines at the Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 pageant where she was adjudged as the third runner-up and was highly appreciated.

Emmanuella has recently confirmed through her social media that the diva will be joining the latest campaign of the organization for a chance to make it to the next cut. Emmanuelle is 25 years old and stands at a height of 165 cm. She is a Filipina singer who also models on the side when she has the opportunity. Emmanuelle was inspired to make music and fell in love with it while studying at Jimmy Antiporda's School of Music. She is a singer, songwriter, model, actor, and former Voice of the Philippines competitor.

Interestingly, Emmanuella and Katrina Llegado, wjho currently among the Top 50 delegates, have both represented Philippines in Reina Hispanoamericana and might now face each other at the national competition. Emmanuella’s younger sister Dani Camcam, who is representing San Juan City, is also a part of the 2022 batch.

Vera’s confirmation to fight for one of the two spots in the Top 30 has created a buzz of excitement among the pageant industry as she is definitely a strong and potential contender for the national crown given her experience, determination and passion.

Currently, the organization has released the official introduction videos of the Top 50 delegates and has opened up the voting lines on the MUPH app where the audiences can display their support for their favourites. Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
