Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Katrina Llegado has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Taguig. She was one of the first delegates confirmed for the national pageant by The Crown Initiative beauty camp. Katrina is 24 years of age and hails from Taguig. She is a Cum-Laurde graduate from the De La Salle University, Manila with a degree in Financial Management.

Not new to pageantry, Katrina competed in Mutya ng Taguig 2018. In 2019, she was crowned as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipina in 2019 and she went on to represent the country at Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 where she was placed as the 5th runner-up with her stellar performance. Llegado carries herself with utmost grace and poise and has a strong foothold at international platforms.

The importance of education, especially for kids that might not have the best circumstances in life, is something she holds close to her heart. Katrina said she wants children to know that they can find access to good education, despite their status in life.

At the competition as well, she has given herself a strong head-start. Katrina emerged as the winner of the swimsuit challenge for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the organization announced two days ago. She is seen donning a gold one-piece swimsuit while riding a gondola. Katrina will definitely be a strong contender for the national crown as she is one of the most experienced and confident queens competing this year.
