Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Making it to the Top 50, Kevyn Alessandrea Mateo will be representing Bataan at this year’s national competition. The 25 year-old beauty is currently working in an advertising agency and sometimes she also does production design as a sideline.

The diva is also extremely talented with her make-up skills and can string some musical tunes on the guitar. She strongly believes in the saying, “Never stop learning and you'll never stop growing.” Not new to pageantry, she was also a part of the Top 75 delegates at the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 competition. “Contemplated really haaaaaard if I should join again this year. But at the end of it, I told myself — it’s really now or never. We all have our timelines and this is the timeline I’m setting for myself,” she shared.

“Excited of what’s in store for me this year. No matter what happens, I will be forever grateful and I’ll forever cherish this once (twice in my case) in a lifetime opportunity. Thankful for the never ending love and support from my family, friends, fellow Bataeños, and to everyone who has supported me since last year,” she added.

Coming back stronger and improved this year, Kevyn definitely has a strong chance to reach the top at this year’s edition and prove her worth for the national title. With her experience, determination and passion, it will be a delight to watch her journey this season.
