Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Lyza Katrina Samalio, representing Ilocos Norte, has made it to the Top 50 of the national pageant. 19 years-old Lyza hails from Pagudpud and was crowned Miss Ilocos Norte 2021 when she was a high school student. The diva is now on the journey to represent all the women of the north.

According to Lyza, what makes a women uniquely beautiful are, “her character, personality and attitude towards herself and other people. I believe that beauty does not only encompass the physical attributes instead she must be a woman who speaks her mind, a woman of action and who cares for others. Also, a woman becomes uniquely beautiful when she embraces diversity and inclusivity that I believe will help us love each other more, care for each other and understand each other more than ever.”

This stunning beauty has made a comeback after competing in the national pageant last year and is definitely much stronger and more dedicatedly coming up for the crown this year. She seems confident and passionate as she paves her way for this year’s edition in the challenges so far.
