Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Joemay Leo, is one of the three mothers who have joined the Miss Universe Philippines pageant this year after the change of rules in the organization. She is representing Benguet at the national competition this year.

Leo is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Baguio. She has won numerous awards in the beauty pageant industry which includes Miss Tuba 2014, Miss Benguet 2014 first runner-up, Miss Baguio 2015 third runner up and Miss Cordillera 2016.

The stunning beauty was also part of Miss World Philippines 2018 where she advocated for cultural awareness and sensitivity. Joemay has always done her best to represent and uplift the whole Igorot tribe and to resolve the indefinite lists of misconceptions and to prove, inspire, and start a roster of world class Igorota beauties.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
