Miss Peru organization, at a private event held on 29th November 2022, announced the appointment of Valeria Flórez as the new Miss Supranational Peru 2023 as she now becomes the official representative of Peru at Miss Supranational 2023. She was personally crowned by Miss Peru director, Jessica Newton.

She is the host of 'A day at the Mall' who is now preparing for her international stint. She is a communicator by profession, an actress and a television host. Valeria is a fluent speaker of Spanish and English as well which makes her a strong contender for the crown.

In an emotional ceremony, Valeria was crowned by her predecessor Almendra Castillo together with Nicola Roberto. In conversation with the press, the former member of 'América Kids' confessed that she was very happy with this title, despite the fact that at first she was chosen as Miss Latina Universal, but now she will carry another title.

Valeria has a strong stage presence and dominates the cameras very well. Being a committed and disciplined person, she succeeds in everything she undertakes. She competed at Miss Peru 2022 where she finished as 2nd runner up.

Miss Supranational Peru 2022 Almendra Castillo who competed at Miss Supranational 2022 and placed in the Top 12 at the end of the event finale. Miss Supranational 2023, the 14th edition of the pageant, will be held next year where Lalela Mswane of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
