The fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2024, will be held next year where Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024.

With the change in rules to add mothers and married women to the international pageant and removal of the upper age limit starting 2024 edition, Miss Universe will witness the best of the best performances. The Filipino fans have already expressed their desire to see their favourites return to the national platform and represent Philippines at Miss Universe.

Kathleen Paton, a pageant veteran in her country, has made it to the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 wishlist. Being a part of The Camp, Kathleen as already hinted about her preparation for the next national pageant.

“As a believer in the power of pageantry, I'm proud to continue on this path towards creating a greater good for society. It is a unique avenue to inspire individuals to become beacons of hope, spreading positivity and kindness to the world”, she wrote.

Not new to the pageant world, Kathleen became the second Filipina to win Miss Eco International in 2022. She also holds the titles of Miss Manila in 2018, Miss Miss Teen International 2017 and 1st runner-up in Miss Teen Asia Australia.

Kathleen Paton is 25 years of age and hails from Laserna, Nabas, Aklan. She is of Filipino-Australian heritage. Paton, even now, proudly wears her advocacy as she speaks about menstrual hygiene. On the Menstrual Hygiene Day, Paton talked about raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene, creating a more open conversation about it, and ending period stigma.
