The 1st edition of Miss Universe Philippines – Tacloban was held on 1st January 2024 at the Tacloban City Convention Center where Tamara Ocier was crowned Miss Universe Philippines -Tacloban 2024 and will now prepare to represent her region at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

The 23-year-old beauty queen pursued a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of the Philippines Tacloban College in Tacloban. Tamara has been a part of local pageants as she represented Basey at Mutya han Samar 2022 and finished third and was crowned Mutya han Samar-Environment 2022.

The newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines - Tacloban 2024 Tamara Ocier’s court included –

1st Runner-Up – Margarette Odiver

2nd Runner-Up – Nesylvie Dupal

3rd Runner-Up – Jialyn Castila

4th Runner-Up – Edlynne Yu

Top 14 also included Arianna Metran, Camille Lawsin, Henedine Brosas, Jaira Encina, Jane Agao, Jeansy Zepeda, Princess Aguila, Trisha Babon.

Also at the finale, Yoshabel Lebico was crowned The Miss Philippines - Tacloban 2024 as she became the official delegate of The Miss Philippines 2024. The national pageant selects Philippines’ representatives to Miss Supranational, Miss Charm and Miss Asia Pacific International.

The host for the evening was KC Montero while the panel of jury comprised of Alex Castro, Gabrielle Basiano, Karla Estrada, Lloyd Lee, Shamcey Supsup-Lee, Sunshine Garcia.

Miss Universe Philippines 2024, the fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, will be held later this year where Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee of Makati will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
