At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Universe Slovakia 2017 (aka Miss Universe Slovenskej Republiky 2017or Miss Universe Slovak Republic 2017) held last night, Vanessa Bottánová was crowned Miss Universe Slovakia 2017 by the outgoing queen and Miss Universe Slovakia 2016, Zuzana Kollárová.
Vanessa is 19 years old, stands tall at 173 cm and hails from Pezinok. She bested eleven other beauties competing for the crown to win the title and will now represent Slovakia in Miss Universe 2017 pageant to be held in Las Vegas next month. She also won the special award for Best Hair.
At the same event, 24-year-old Frederika Samuelová from Jasová was declared the first runner-up (first vice-miss) besides winning the special award for Most Beautiful Face, while the second runner-up was the 21-year-old beauty Patrícia Budaiová from Banská Bystrica.
Remaining nine contestants were Nikola Benedikovicová (Smolenice, 23), Patrícia Körössyová (Janík, 20), Michaela Piovarciová (Liptovský Mikuláš, 21), Deana Jurcová (Trencín, 24), Vivienne Jusko (Bratislava, 20), Simona Pohanceníková (Bratislava, 22), Vladimíra Luttyová (Banská Bystrica, 21), Dominika Mikulcová (Banská Bystrica, 24) and Adriana Zaujecová (Trávnica, 19).
