The prestigious Miss Universe Thailand 2017 competition is moving towards its finale which is scheduled to be held on 29th July 2017 at The Royal Paragon Hall, Bangkok. The contestants recently took part in the preliminary competition of evening gowns held on 27th July. Every participant depicted elegance on the stage wearing their respective gowns.
The contest was held at The Royal Paragon Hall, Bangkok. The competition started with the participants wearing beautiful evening gowns. They walked gracefully and impressed the judges. Before the announcement of special awards, the participants walked the ramp in stunning swim-wears as well.
A series of Special Awards were awarded to the following contestants:
Boutique Lady- Maria Lynn Ehren: She is entitled to travel in Bangkok Airways at 100,000 Baht, 1 year with sash.
Miss Beauty and Elegance- Kwannakorn Chaiwan: She received a cash prize of one hundred thousand baht with a sash.
Miss Smile- Paweensuda Drouin: She received a cash prize of 100,000 Baht and a sash.
The finale will take place on Saturday, 29th July and the finalists are all decked up to showcase their talent and elegance. 40 stunning finalists are vying for the coveted crown. Miss Universe Thailand 2016, Chalita Suansane will crown her successor at the finale night. The winner will then represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant
