On 10th March 2020, Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild with Mr. Andre Sleigh, Vice President of Miss Supranational arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport to commence their journey and promote the image of Vietnam.The two were welcomed by Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 Hoàng Thi Thùy at the airport.

As soon as the beauty queen greeted Miss Supranational 2019 and the pictures were posted online, the pageant fanatics believed that Hoang Thi Thuy will be representing Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2020 but recently the diva has announced that she won’t be a part of Miss Supranational 2020.

"I have decided to stop the exam after finishing Miss Universe. However, the fans were expecting too much, so I was a bit hesitant. Seeing everyone's rumours too much, I decided to announce the plan to stop. contest to prepare fans psychologically, " she said.

The beauty queen who represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2019 and was placed at Top 20 at the end of the event finale. She mentioned that she has many new projects that she wants to focus on and doesn’t want to compete in beauty pageants anymore. She has been working in modelling industry for a long time and wants to keep doing that but also wants to pass her experience to the young and aspiring young women.

She is the founder of the WE (Women Empowerment), a non-profit organization, in conjunction with educational organizations. She is the ambassador of Women Will, a group whose mission is to help women and school-girls amplify the role of women in society and teach them skills so they can be independent. She is also the ambassador for the 'I Choose to Live Green' project of Nam A Bank, a project setup to raise people's awareness of environment protection.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 also prepared dry hand wash gel, vitamin C and medical masks for Miss Supranational 2019 and the vice president of the contest. A day later, Huong Giang led the guests to Bach Dang wharf, boarded a boat, and watched the Saigon River. She also prepared a lace dress and a conical hat for Anntonia Porsild.

We would have loved to see her on Miss Supranational 2020 stage.
