Panoramaland, JessiKate Riley was crowned Miss Utah 2017 at Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City on the 17th of June. Apart from the crown, Riley was awarded a $10,000 scholarship along with a brand new car to relish for the coming year. JessiKate’s schedule for the upcoming year seems to be quiet tight as she will be travelling to disparate places over the months in order to talk to the assemblage about her ‘Find ValYOU Within’ platform in accord with heading Children’s Miracle Network as the state ambassador.
Currently studying in Brigham Young University, JessiKate is ready to graduate with a major in Violin performance and further aspires to be a studio recording artist. Alongside her university preparation, she organized a solo performance where she was seen playing ‘Praeludium and Allegro’ by Kreisler. Riley won $200 worth of scholarship, in addition to a preliminary talent award. Moreover, during the final evening she also received the Glenn Harmon Instrumental Music Award as well as a $500 scholarship.
Growing up in beaver, as a teenager, Riley was enthroned as Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen (MUOT) in the year 2014. Surprisingly, she is the first individual to hold both the titles of Miss Utah and MUOT.
Now, she will continue her exponential journey in the Miss America 2018 Pageant, to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the 10th of September, Sunday.
