Thalia Olvino crowned Miss Venezuela 2019

At the conclusion of the grand coronation night of Miss Venezuela 2019 held hours ago in Estudio 1 de Venevisión, Caracas, Thalia Olvino was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Venezuela in Miss Universe 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Venezuela 2018 Isabella Rodríguez.

The 20-year-old Thalia represented her province with sincerity and dedication and was a strong competition ever since the beginning. She was a part of our Top 6 favourites competing for the national crown as well. There is no doubt that the Venezuelan beauty will be a strong force to compete with at the international stage as well. The newly crowned queen’s court included-

First Finalist - María Ledezma Navarro representing Apure

Second Finalist - Vanessa Carolina Coello Coraspe representing Monagas

Third Finalist - Oriana Pablos representing Distrito Capital

Twenty four contestants competed in the national competition and gave their best performances to move forward. As the four hosts of the evening Fanny Ottati, Henrys Silva, Jose Andres Pardon and none other than Miss International 2018 Mariem Claret Velazco began the show, Top 10 were selected and the batch included - Oriana Gabriela Pablos Díaz (Distrito Capital), Vanessa Carolina Coello Coraspe (Monagas), Thalia Olvino Torres (Delta Amacuro), María Ledezma Navarro (Apure) and Melissa Ester Jiménez Guevara (Zulia), Verónica Dugarte Riera (Lara), Rashell Delgado (Miranda), Karla Hurtado (Yaracuy), Maria Fernanda Franceschi (Anzoátegui), Alessandra Sánchez Cardola (Merida).

From the Top 10 selected by the accomplished panel of jury, five moved forward as the competition reached its conclusion and the Top 5 included - Oriana Gabriela Pablos Díaz (Distrito Capital), Vanessa Carolina Coello Coraspe (Monagas), Thalia Olvino Torres (Delta Amacuro), María Ledezma Navarro (Apure) and Melissa Ester Jiménez Guevara (Zulia).

Also at the end of the coronation event, Melissa Jimenez representing Zulia was crowned Miss International Venezuela 2019 by her predecessor and the reigning Miss International Mariem Claret Velazco.

A few special awards were also given at the coronation night as Miss Solidaridad went to María Fernanda Franceschi representing Anzoátegui and Miss Amistad was awarded to Rashell Delgado representing Miranda.
