Is Osmel Sousa coming out of retirement already?

The Miss Venezuela organization felt a sharp sting on Tuesday, as Osmel Sousa announced his departure from the beauty scene after a tiresome, almost, four decades. The man was correctly named the ‘Czar Of Beauty’. He had brought home, for Venezuela, numerous crowns, and also was the root of the famous back-to-back Miss Universe wins for the country.

Now, the suspicion of this not being the end of the maestro’s career came from his trip to Brazil.

Just a day after announcing his resignation from Miss Venezuela, Sousa left for Brazil where he is expected to receive deals directing the Miss Brazil pageant. It is being said thatthe information could be announced sometime next week in that country.

Those who know the Cuban-Venezuelan, know that his resignation marks only the beginning of other major projects related to beauty.

"Osmel was previously working with Miss Brazil and the Brazilians wanted him to go live there, but he was very good in Venezuela, he was an idol there, and it was hard for him to leave so many people dear to him. However, now that the political situation of the country has changed and the country does not offer any security, on Tuesday he shot the first bomb with his resignation and today he leaves for Brazil," a source revealed to a Venezuelan web portal.

It is speculated that the television network with which Sousa would be negotiating is Bandeirantes.

Osmel will continue as part of the panel of "Our Latin Beauty" on Univision, which, although is no longer broadcasted, could come up with an event for women who gained weight.

The fact that Osmel made the announcement of his resignation the day after it was made public that Desirée Lowry and LuisitoVigoreaux lost the Puerto Rico franchise makes one wonder that the Puerto Rican pageant could hire his services.

Thus, beyond Osmel signing an agreement with Brazil, he could be offering his knowledge to other franchises such as Puerto Rico that is now under the command of WAPA TV.
