The state finale of Miss West Coast 2022 was held on 18th May 2022 at The Hall at the Camfield where Briana Demaio was crowned the new winner. She became one of the finalists from Western Australia competing at Miss Universe Australia 2022.

Briana Demaio is 20 years of age and surprised everyone with her outstanding performance. As Miss West Coast 2022, Briana will take home a brand new Mitsubishi ASX from North Side Rentals and will move in to NV Apartments Perth courtesy of Fragrance Group during her reign.

On winning Miss West Coast 2022, Briana took to her official social media as she wrote, “WOW!! Last night was an absolute dream come true. Still pinching myself at the fact that I will be representing WA at the Miss Universe Australia national finals alongside these 5 other beautiful women. I am also extremely honored to hold the title of Miss West Coast 2022!!”

“I am ready to take on the amazing opportunities that come my way whilst giving it my absolute all. I can’t wait to follow in the footsteps of the one and only @baylee_saltmarsh… as I am keen to learn and grow as an individual and role model. The last 3 months have been an unforgettable experience! Not only have I made lifelong friends who I now classify as family, I have also become confident within myself. Super excited for nationals and the year ahead,” she added.

Also at the finale, Jacinta Pizzata, Cayla-Lee de Villiers, Diana Hills, Ashleigh Post and Sienna Perruzza were also announced as the official finalists from Western Australia competing at Miss Universe Australia 2022.
