Charlotte Bellotte from Charles Town was crowned Miss West Virginia USA 2020 on 27th October 2019. The coronation ceremony was conducted at Creative Arts Center in Morgantown. Charlotte will be representing West Virginia at Miss USA 2020. She succeeds Haley Holloway Miss West Virginia USA 2019 of Morgantown.
Charlotte Bellote holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and new media from Shepherd University. She currently working as a Research Assistant for the United States Senate Committee on Energy and Natural resources.
Charlotte Bellotte has also won title of the 2018 West Virginia Strawberry Festival queen previously. The model didn’t enroll in pageants until she was 16. The idea behind taking part in the pageants was to boost her confidence and improve her poise. She didn’t want to prove that she was the prettiest.
Charlotte’s mother Tammy Bellotte has been an inspiration to the model. She says that her mother had encouraged her to sign up for her first competition. Charlotte is a certified yoga instructor. She also enjoys traveling, learning photography and hiking through state parks in West Virginia.
Along with Charlotte Bellotte, Sophia Isabella Martino of Bridgeport was crowned Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2020. Both Charlotte and Sophia will represent West Virgina for the title of Miss USA 2020 and Miss USA Teen 2020 respectively.
