The organization of Miss West Virginia USA hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss West Virginia USA 2021 on 11th July 2021 at Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts in West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon where Alexis Bland of Parkersburg was crowned as the new queen. Alexis succeeded Miss West Virginia USA 2020 Charlotte Bellotte for the title and will represent West Virginia at Miss USA 2021.
Alexis is 22-years-old. She attended West Virginia University in Parkersburg where she earned her associate’s degree in business, management, marketing, and related support services. She works at Re/Max Properties of the Valley as a real estate agent in Parkersburg. After winning the crown, the diva took to her social media to share a video of her crowning with a caption, "I AM MISS WEST VIRGINIA USA, I can’t believe this is my life. Miss USA, West Virginia is coming for you!"

The diva started competing in beauty pageants when she was 15-years-old and that is when she realized that she wanted to create a place that made women feel confidently beautiful. She is the founder of ‘Twisted Couture’ which focuses on making all women feel confident in knowing they are the best dressed in the room. She is signed and managed by MMG Model and Talent Management and feels blessed to have opportunities in her life that give her the confidence and strength to keep working hard and stay dedicated to what she loves.
Alexis is beautiful, strong, confident, and extremely focused on her goals. She is passionate about things she takes up in her life and her performance at the finale showcases the same. She is positive and looking forward to starting her preparations for Miss USA 2021. She is grateful for being surrounded by people who are supporting and motivating her towards her dreams and she wants to make them proud by winning Miss USA 2021.
Miss Teen West Virginia USA 2021 was also held on the same night as Brylee Knotts was crowned the new queen. She will represent West Virginia at Miss Teen USA 2021.
