Megan Young was crowned as Miss World in 2013 which was held on 28th September 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center Bali, Indonesia. Around 127 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown making the biggest produce in the pageant’s history. Yu Wenxia (China) crowned her as her successor at the end of the event. This is the first time Philippines won the title of Miss World.
Recently, Megan Young has been awarded as one of Women’s Journal’s outstanding women of the year. She is beautiful and talented and made her country proud by winning the crown and defeating other contestants present. Women’s Journal is the longest-running lifestyle magazine and is celebrating the 45th Anniversary. Awardees were women who have contributed to society & the nation through advocacies or by being motivation to other people.
