We finally have the date and host country for the much-awaited Miss World 2019! After China hosted the most prestigious international pageant last year, speculations have been rife about which country will get to host the pageant this year. It seems that the organization has decided that United Kingdom will be the host country for the 69th edition of the renowned Miss World beauty pageant.
The finale will be held on 14th December 2019 at ExCel London in London, United Kingdom. This is the 45th time that United Kingdom will host the Miss World pageant since its commencement in 1951.
Candidates from more than 111 countries are expected to compete in Miss World 2019, and one of them will earn the privilege to be crowned 69th Miss Universe by the reigning queen - Vanessa Ponce De Leon of Mexico - Miss World 2018.
Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant. ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ is the the heart of the competition in which each contestant is judged on the impact she makes working with non-profits, or starting her own, in the poorer parts of the world.
