Confirmed semi-finalists of Miss World 2021

The 70th edition of the Miss World pageant is set to be held on 16th December 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico where delegates from all over the world will compete for the coveted title. The reigning Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss World is the oldest-running international beauty pageant. There are several preliminary competitions that are held prior to the day of the finale including Talent round, Beauty with a Purpose round, Head-to-Head challenge, Top Model competition, Multimedia challenge and Sports challenge all of which test the multidimensional attributes of a candidate.

While most of the challenges have already been held, the winners of a few more events are still to be announced including the Multimedia challenge and Beauty with a Purpose round. There are 20 more spots to go and the beauty queens who will conquer the remaining rounds will make it straight to the Top 30 of the competition along with the other pre-pageant competition winners.

The contestants who have already secured a spot in the Top 30 are Olivia Yacé of Côte d’Ivoire, who won the Top Model competition and the Head-to-Head challenge along with Alejandra Conde representing Venezuela, Bethania Borba representing Paraguay, Sheymmis Palacios representing Nicaragua, Audrey Monkam representing Cameroon, Namrata Shrestha representing Nepal, Palesa Molefe representing Botswana, Tracy Maureen Perez representing Philippines.

The winners of Talent round and Sports challenge are Burte Ujin of Mongolia and Karolina Vidales of Mexico respectively, both of whom have also secured their places as semi-finalists.

Miss World organization also announced the projects which made it into the Top 10 of the Beauty with a Purpose round, today. Karolína Kopíncová of Czech Republic, Rehema Muthamia of England, Sharon Obara of Kenya, Nellie Anjaratiana of Madagascar, Namrata Shrestha of Nepal, Tracy Perez of Philippines, Shudufhadzo Musida of South Africa, Sade Greenwood of Sri Lanka, Shree Saini of United States and Manasa Varanasi of India are among the selected contestants.
