Miss World 2021 Top 40: Pricilia Carla Yules representing Indonesia

The finale of Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. Carla Yules representing Indonesia has secured a spot in Top 40 by being one of the judges’ choice winners.

 

 

Pricilia Carla Yules is 25 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. Pricilia has a Diploma in Hospitality specializing in cooking, patisserie and baking. She is currently working as a host and a model.  Her personal motto is ‘The world is too big to stay in one place and life is too short to do just one thing.’

Yules was born and raised in Surabaya, East Java. Carla studied at the Santa Agnes Catholic Middle School in Surabaya (2008–2011) and the Brothers Catholic High School in Surabaya (2011–2014). The Indonesian beauty then continued her diploma education in Melbourne, Australia.

She is an alumnus of the William Angliss Institute, majoring in Patisserie and Hospitality. Her passion for cooking led her to study in Australia. Carla became involved in social activities by volunteering to cook at a homeless shelter in Melbourne.

The beauty queen promotes the natural beauty of the beaches, cultural heritage, food, and animals that her community has. She is strong, confident, and dedicated towards her goals which as of now is to represent Indonesia at Miss World 2021. Being awarded as one of the 21 Indonesia’s Beautiful Women Award 2021, Carla believes that women should be appreciated more and given more such chances to prove themselves because women have a lot of potentials.

If Carla gets a chance to win Miss World 2021 this year, she will debut her country’s win at the international pageant. The country, however, has been placing in the top throughout the decade with two runners-up wins in 2015 and 2016.
