Miss World 2021, 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night.

Olivia Yacé representing Côte D’ivoire won the spot in Top 40 by winning Top Model, Head-to-Head and Multimedia fast-track challenges. Olivia is 23 years of age and stands 180 cm tall. She speaks French, Spanish and English fluently.

Hailing from Yamoussoukro, Olivia is a marketing and management major student and former runway model. Olivia Yacé, at Miss World 2021, presents the traditional costume which tells the story of the AKAN woman of Côte d’Ivoire. The costume represents the beauty, femininity, and braveness embodied by the women of this ethnic group. This costume, which was totally handmade and carefully crafted with AKAN woven loincloth, celebrates the woman as a child-bearer and a life-giver.

Cote d'Ivoire’s Olivia knows how to pull off a bold outfit, most of her looks have been striking and vivid. She looked like a queen on the day of the dinner with the mayor as she wore a silky emerald, green dress paired with head turning jewelry. Her fashion game is unmatched, and she proved her worth as she won the Top Model title at the pageant.

Winning three fast track challenges, Olivia has proven her worth in the competition as one of the front-runners. The stunning African beauty, with her courage and determination, will definitely be the one to look out for. If she wins, Olivia will be the first woman from her country to win the coveted crown.
