The 70th edition of Miss World, i.e. Miss World 2021, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.
In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. Shree Saini representing USA has made it to Top 40 by being one of the winners of Beauty with a Purpose fast-track competition.
Shree Saini is 26 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. Born in Ludhiana, Punjab in India, Shree shifted to USA at the age of 5. The stunning beauty has had to face difficult circumstances through her life; for the first 12 years of her life in Washington, Saini's heartbeat had an average of just 20 beats per minute. While the doctors told her she could never dance again, she persisted and practiced extra hours for years so she could dance again. Her persistence and determination has helped her reach a stage where she is today.
At the age of 15, her mother fell ill and had to be put on life support. Shree had witnessed enough pain by then and decided on setting up an NGO to help people, like her, who were dealing with depression and other such ailments.
A few years ago, Saini was involved in a major car accident in Moses Lake that resulted in her suffering from significant facial burns. While the doctors gave her one year of recovery time, she bounced back stronger in less than a month.
Shree Saini is a fluent orator and has garnered applause from the audience. Not new to the pageantry. Saini was a former Miss India USA from 2017-2018 and Miss India Worldwide from 2018-2019. In 2019, Shree Saini competed at Miss World America 2019 but could not finish in the competition due to a medical emergency.
In 2020, she won Miss World America's Beauty with a Purpose National Ambassador, Top Influencer National Winner, People's Choice National Winner and Talent Audience Choice National Award. In 2021, Saini was appointed Miss World America 2021 as she became the official representative of USA at Miss World 2021.
Shree Saini, due to the incidents that happened in her life, has now dedicated her time to talking publicly about heart health and emotional health. Shree was a visiting student at Harvard, Yale, and Stanford University and later earned her undergrad at the University of Washington. She studied non-profit management at Harvard University, performing arts at Yale School of Drama, and social entrepreneurship at Stanford University before attaining a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Washington.
With her stunning beauty, her strong personality and advocacy, Shree Saini is bound to perform well at Miss World 2021. If she wins, Shree Saini will win the fourth crown for USA.
