As the finalists for each region are putting their best foot forward to move a step closer to the national crown, Vanessa Claudia Hatter Monintja is one of the names emerging as the potential winner for the title of Puteri Indonesia North Sulawesi 2022.

24 years old Vanessa stands 175 cm tall, was born in Manado and is an Indonesian-Canadian mix blood. She is an architecture graduate and is currently working in Sulawesi Utara. She speaks fluent English and Bahasa. The diva has been awarded with several scholarships during her academic timeline.

Vanessa is also not new to pageantry and has been a part of the regional pageants. She is also the founder and CEo of Voice of Women ID, a non-governmental organization focusing on spreading awareness on gender equality, improving quality education for children and being platform for the voiceless and reaching out to those who are in need.

Behind her sweet and soft personality the diva holds a passionate and consistent aura and is definitely a strong candidate for North Sulawesi. Out of all the delegates that will participate in the competition, 18 have been selected so far. Meanwhile, the 27 other participants are being chosen from the National Voting and Audition system.

For this year’s format, instead of the previous 39, there will be 45 contestants competing for Puteri Indonesia 2022 title as each regional group; Sumatra, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Eastern Indonesia, will have one extra representative decided from the highest public vote.
