The 70th edition of Miss World, i.e. Miss World 2021, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. Bethania Borba representing Paraguay has made it to Top 40 by winning Head-to-Head fast-track challenge.

Bethania Borba Rodríguez was crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay 2021 in a special ceremony held on 27th September 2021 at the Gran Nobile Hotel & Convention in Ciudad del Este. Bethania is 18 years of age and a marketing student.

Initially, when the finale was postponed, Bethania had regretted the situation and questioned her return to the event due to the expenses involved in preparing for a contest of this nature.

However, the director of Gloria Promotions, confirmed that Bethania being the first Top 15 delegates has become a favourite for Miss World 2021. “Yes. Bethany travels. She is already preparing, she is seeing the tickets with the agency with which she had previously traveled and now we are seeking the support of companies to accompany her in this commitment. Let us remember that she is among the first 15 classified in this event, which means that she is one of the favorites of the contest”, the director said.

The stunning beauty is a good orator and advocates against cyber bullying and is quite vocal about her cause on her social media. With her stunning beauty, her cause and her determination, Borba will surely be a strong contender for Miss World 2021 crown. Paraguay is yet to pioneer its win at Miss World.
