Former Miss World Australia, Erin Holland, who is a singer, model, host and a charity worker is now all set to put an extra skill to her resume, as she excitedly announced her next project in which she will be playing a lead.

The beauty queen will be making her first TV debut as an actor alongside Jessica Mauboy who is a songster in new Seven’s drama series ‘The Secret Daughter’.

On Tuesday, the 27-year-old  took her Instagram handle to confirm the buzz and also spoke about her character's name as well as about joining Jessica Mauboy in the all-star cast.

The beauty queen was stated as saying  - “Doing my happy dance that's it's finally time to announce I'll make my acting début playing Della Jensen in Channel Seven's new drama The Secret Daughter! What an honour to work with Jessica Mauboy and the incredible cast.”

The beauty queen donned a plunging ‘Little Black Dress’ by the designer Pasduchas and she appeared with a peace sign in the happy picture.

The 10-episode drama ‘The Secret Daughter’ will see Jessica Mauboy, 26, lend a hand in producing the much-anticipated show, as well as take on the starring role of ‘Billie’ (a country pub singer whose life has turned upside-down after meeting a city hotelier).

‘The Secret Daughter’ show’s cast included - Bonnie Sveen are Colin Friels (BlackJack, Water Rats, Killing Time) Matthew Levett (A Place To Call Home, Devil's Playground), David Field (Catching Milat, No Activity), Rachel Gordon (Winter, The Moodys, Blue Heelers), and Salvatore Coco (The Principal, Catching Milat), Jared Turner.
