Madeleine Crowe from Queensland crowned as Miss World Australia 2016

The magnificent finale of Miss World Australia 2016 concluded with the crowning of Madeleine Crowe from Queensland as the winner. The finale was held on July 22’ 2016 at Crown Palladium in Melbourne. Madeleine succeeds Miss World Australia 2015 Tess Alexander, and will now represent Australia at the Miss World 2016 pageant. This is the fourth straight year that a Queensland beauty has won the Miss World Australia title.
 
 
23 years old Madeleine is no stranger to the world of pageantry. She was the first runner-up at the Miss Universe Australia 2015 pageant. Madeleine is all set to compete at the Miss World 2016 pageant and is preparing to chase home the third Miss World title. Belinda Green, Miss World 1972 is the last woman from Australia to have won the Miss World crown. Last year, Tess Alexander made it to the Top 10 finalists of Miss World 2015 and also won the title of Continental Queen of Oceania.
 
At the same event, Asma Voloder was adjudged the first runner-up, Amy Lee was titled second runner-up, Tasha Ross was announced as the third runner-up and Anna Mcevoy finished as the fourth runner-up.
