At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss World Bangladesh 2017 held at Noborattri Hall of the International Convention City at Bashundhara, Dhaka, Jannatul Nayeem Avril crowned as Miss World Bangladesh 2017. She will now represent Bangladesh in the Miss World 2017 pageant scheduled to be held on 18th November 2017 in Sanya, China.
She is a law student, model by profession and introduces herself as a biker and was crowned by Bibi Russell, Bangladeshi fashion designer and former international model. At the same event, Jesia Islam declared as first runner-up and Jannatul Sumaiya Himi announced as second runner-up.
The other seven out of the top 10 contestants were- Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, Zara Mitu, Sadiya Iman, Touhida Tasnim Tifa, Miftahul Jannat, Sanchita Rani Dutta and Farhana Zaman Tandra.
Fashion designer Bibi Rasel, magician Jewel Aich, actress Shampa Reza, photographer Chanchal Mahmud, corporate personality Rubaba Dowla Matin and ICT personality Sonia Kabir were judges of the finale.
