Xaria Penn was crowned Miss World British Virgin Islands 2022 in a private ceremony held in November last year. Since then, Xaria has been busy preparing to represent British Virgin Islands at Miss World 2023.
This will not be Xaria’s first stint at an international pageant; she was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2021 on 25th September 2021 after which she represented the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates in Eilat, Israel where she was unplaced.
In August 2020, Xaria graduated from British Virgin Islands Seventh-day Adventist School (BVA SDA School) in Tortola with honors. Afterwards, she entered H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in Paraquita Bay, British Virgin Islands.
Standing 6 feet tall, Xaria will definitely be a strong contender for the Miss World 2023 crown, having international pageant exposure already and getting all the support from her country. British Virgin Islands did not compete at the last edition. Xaria succeeds Miss World British Virgin Islands 2019 Rikkiya Brathwaite.
