Jaime VandenBerg is all set to represent Canada at the 71st edition of Miss World which will be held in India in March this year, as she has been preparing for her international stint with sincerity and dedication. Jaime also passed her crown to her successor at Miss World Canada 2022 which was held on 13th November 2022 at the Richmond Hill Centre where Emma Morrison was crowned as the official representative of Canada at 72nd Miss World.

Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, Jaime was born and raised in the windy city of Lethbridge, Alberta. Jaime is an international model and University of Lethbridge graduate born in Lethbridge, Alberta. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in May with Honours and a concentration in legal reasoning. Jaime is well known internationally for her activism and volunteerism towards gender equality.

With all of the humanitarian work that Jaime has accomplished, Jaime received an international Diana Award for her humanitarian work and social change efforts abroad. The Diana Award was established in memory of Princess Diana to encourage activism and social change involvement. Modeling has been a hobby of Jaime’s since she was scouted by Lisa Kauffman and signed with LK Model Management as well as I Model Management. Jaime has graced the runway at YYC Fashion Week as well as runway shows in Medicine Hat and her hometown Lethbridge. Jaime VandenBerg truly believes that with determination and passion anything can happen, and anyone can make a change.

On winning the Miss World Canada crown, Jaime took to her official social media as she wrote, "Honoured to announce that I am your new Miss World Canada and will be representing Canada at the 71st Miss World competition. After taking time to reflect on my experience in Toronto, I wanted to write my first thank you to all of the delegates whom I spent the week getting to know. It truly was a sisterhood like no other. I have been in several pageants where there is often bad energy after the competition, but I can honestly say these girls were genuine and kind through the end. I feel like I actually got the chance to get to know all of the girls at least a little and I couldn’t be more grateful to be apart of such a supportive group of women.”

“Learning about the projects these ladies have been working on is exactly why I love pageants. To be surrounded by some of the most ambitious and inspiring women in Canada is truly a source of motivation like no other. Each one of these women had their own message to share and each as important as my own and I encourage my followers to check out the amazing things they have achieved. You can find their accounts on the @missworldcnd page and more information about each of the delegates. Thank you, ladies for an unforgettable week of late nights, laughter, and kindness”, she added.
