Jaime VandenBerg is all set to represent Canada at the 71st edition of Miss World which will be held in May 2023 as she has been preparing for her international stint with sincerity and dedication. She passed her crown to her successor at Miss World Canada 2022 which was held on 13th November 2022 at the Richmond Hill Centre and Emma Morrison was crowned as the official representative of Canada at 72nd Miss World.
Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, Jaime was born and raised in the windy city of Lethbridge, Alberta. Jaime is a plant-based traveling model passionate about gender equality. She has been competing in pageants for the past eight years. Previously, she held the title of Miss International Canada 2020.
She also wrote a message for the upcoming delegates of the 2022 edition in a caption, “As my journey towards the 71st Miss World continues, as does the journey towards crowning my successor at Miss World Canada. While passing my crown will be bitter sweet, I am so excited for the next group of girls to share the exhilarating experience of competing at nationals. To the next group of delegates, I have been in your shoes and will be here throughout your journey, I am your pageant sister and will support you in anyway I can. My inbox is open and I cannot wait to meet you all.”
Modeling has been a hobby of Jaime’s since she was scouted by Lisa Kauffman and signed with LK Model Management as well as I Model Management. She has graced the runway at YYC Fashion Week as well as runway shows in Medicine Hat and her hometown Lethbridge. Jaime VandenBerg truly believes that with determination and passion anything can happen, and anyone can make a change.
Miss World Canada 2020 Svetlana Mamaeva represented Canada at Miss World 2021 and placed in Top 40 with her stellar performance. Canada is yet to pioneer its win at Miss World.
