Srichchha Pradhan was crowned Miss World Nepal 2023 at the finale of the 27th edition of Miss Nepal held on 27th May 2023 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center, at Godawari, Lalitpur. Since her coronation, Pradhan has been busy preparing for Miss World 2024 which will be held later this year.

Pradhan was 25 years old when she was crowned Miss Nepal World 2023 last year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Bennington College in Vermont, US. At the finale, Srichchha Pradhan gave a short speech on ‘Women Entrepreneurship’. Pradhan is the founder of Deego Pranali and considers female entrepreneurship as the secret to a flourishing economy for Nepal.

Pradhan, on winning the crown, expressed her emotions in a post captioned, “This was always a platform for me first, a prestigious platform for positive actions. Like one of my friends once said, "It's not about surviving. It's about thriving. I'll be thriving in each and every moment to collaborate with you all and commemorate this title. And I am assured of your love and kind support.”

Pradhan is a big believer in leadership and collaborates and uplifts people around her. “It's about understanding the unique skills of each and letting others step in when needed. Leadership, in my experience, is about facilitation and celebration of the power of the community. The first step to action and proper participation is always listening, truly, listening to each and every existence around us”, she quoted.

Since Miss World 2023 is already yet to happen where Nepal is being represented by Priyanka Rani Joshi, it gives Srichchha a lot of time to hone her skills and prepare for the Miss World competition. Pradhan will definitely be a strong contender for the international crown with her strong advocacy, charming personality and stunning features.

Miss World 2024 will be the 72nd edition of Miss World where the winner of Miss World 2023 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
