It was a historic night for Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World where Krystyna Pyszková won the crown for her country at the finale held on 9th March 2024 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. It was a back-to-back blonde win and also for Europe at Miss World. Moreover, Czech fans were elated with the crown returning to Czech Republic after 18 years.

The first crown for Czech Republic was won by Tatána Kucharová in 2006 which witnessed a series of firsts; Miss World 2006 was held in Poland, the first time the pageant was held in the Continental Europe and a European city other than London, United Kingdom.

Krystyna Pyszková bested one hundred eleven delegates to win the coveted Miss World crown. The Czech beauty queen was the epitome of confidence and grace at the competition. Her Beauty with a Purpose project to provide quality education to children across the world was appreciated by everyone and won her a spot in the Top 10 Beauty with a Purpose as well.

Coincidently, Krystyna was crowned by a Polish predecessor Karolina Bielawska this year just as Tatana won the crown in the Polish country 18 years ago. Former Miss World Tatana also congratulated Krystyna on her win as she quoted, “A huge well done krystynka! This is an absolute blast! I'm so proud of Krystyna. May the title serve the maximum interest not only for yourself, but also for others - for the needy all over the world. Welcome to the Miss World family.”

As the 71st Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková will now have the privilege to travel all across the world to advocate for humanitarian causes and spread more awareness for her BWAP project. She will have the opportunity to meet people in power who can help her spread the motto of Miss World, an organization based on the sole groundwork of ‘Beauty with a Purpose'.
