At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Danmark 2017 held at Azuray Meeting & Event Center, Denmark, Amanda Petri emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss World Denmark 2017. She will now represent her country, Denmark, in the 66th Miss World 2017 competition to be held on 18th November 2017 in Sanya, China. The reigning Miss World Denmark, Helena Heuser passed the crown and the reign to her successor at the conclusion of the finale and gave her best wishes for her future journey. Amanda bested 29 other candidates competing for the title to win the crown, besides winning the special award for Miss Talent.
At the same event, Shania Idit Iversen Barrientos was declared as the first runner-up whereas Simone Gadegaard Andersen finished as the second runner-up. Mille Kathrine Malihini Jul and Sabrina Jovanovic completed the Top 5. Remaining Top 15 finalists were Tanja Baunsgaard Hansen, Astrið Foldarskarð, Cecilie Dissing, Josephine Mikkonen Sørensen, Monique Mallya Mechlenburg, Alicia Gravgård Yahiya, Sophie Fournais, Anna Stella Diekelmann, Cecilie Kaas and Madeline Ellegaard.
