Nicol Ocles crowned Miss World Ecuador 2018

Miss World Ecuador 2018 held its grand finale night on 23rd June 2018 held at Civic Center Theater "Eloy Alfaro" in Guayaquil. Nicol Ocles was crowned Miss World Ecuador 2018 by the outgoing Miss World Ecuador 2017 Romina Zeballos. Nicol is now going to represent her country at Miss World 2018.

Romina Zeballos, in her farewell speech, thanked the Miss World Ecuador Organization for the best year of her life in which she was able to contribute to universal causes such as education against mistreatment of women.

 

Nicol Ocles crowned Miss World Ecuador 2018

 

The 21-year-old Nicol Ocles is the first Imbaburena who has achieved the national title. She was also the queen of Pimampiro 2016-2017 and was also queen of her Chalguayacu community in 2015. She stands 169 cm tall. Ocles also won the Miss Sports title in the preliminaries.

The finale night was hosted by Danilo Carrera and the beautiful exreina Andrea Villacres. Norka and Equilivre were responsible for keeping the crowd entertained and happy which they did with a choreography of the theme No lie by Sean Paul and Dua lipa.

Carla Prado representing Guayas was announced the first princess aka first runner-up and Nina Solorzano representing Manabi was the second princess aka second runner-up. Carla Prado will represent Ecuador at Miss Supranational 2018 whereas Nina Solorzano will represent Ecuador at Miss Intercontinental 2018.
