Miss World Ecuador 2020, the 8th edition of Miss World Ecuador, will host its coronation night on 23rd May 2020 in Portoviejo where stunning beauties from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Ecuador in Miss World 2020. María Auxiliadora Idrovo Miss World Ecuador 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Karolaynne Hidalgo Alfaro

Karolaynne Hidalgo Alfaro hails from Santa Elena and will represent her province in Miss World Ecuador 2020. She is 19-years-old and stands 169 cm tall. Graduating from University of Catolica Santiago de Guayaquil, Karolaynne is a law student and is pursuing education from a distance course. She has an excellent command over English and Spanish as she speaks them with fluency. Alfaro has been a social activist since she was 14. She works for the welfare of underprivileged children and vulnerable families in Santa Elena. She wants to take her social work on a global level and hence aims to be crowned as Miss World Ecuador 2020 thereby being crowned as Miss World 2020. On the work front, Karolaynne is a TV entertainer and has presented canal de Santa Elena on Brista TV, an entertainment channel in Ecuador. She is not new to pageantry as she earlier participated in Reina del Maíz Santa Elena 2017, Reina Latinoamérica Ecuador 2018 and Virreina del cantón Salinas 2019. She was crowned as Virreina del cantón Salinas in 2019. Karolaynne loves animals and her hobbies are reading and taking pictures. She loves to spend time with her family and often goes on casual walks with them.

Maria Emilia Vasquez

María Emilia Vásquez Larrea is 23-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She hails from Quito and will represent Pichincha in Miss World Ecuador 2020. Maria graduated from University of Argentina de la Empresa in Buenos Aires and majors in Media Management & Entertainment. She worked for the Media and Audiovisual industry for four years in Argentina where she got a chance to work for Netflix. As a social worker, Maria helps people in the state of abandonment. Be it homeless Children or elders or people with special abilities, she works for the welfare of every section of the society. Maria is a fitness enthusiast and keeps her diet in check and her hobbies include cooking, reading, and writing. After spending four years of her life in Argentina, Maria is back to her country to strive for the crown of Miss World 2020. She believes that this platform reflects true feminism and brings out a woman with skills, talent, intellect, and affection that is beyond appearance. Her dedication to win the crown and sincerity in efforts makes her a strong contender this year.

Andrea Aguilera Paredes

Andrea Aguilera Paredes is 18-years-old and stands 180 cm tall. Andrea participated in Miss Earth Ecuador 2019 and was crowned as Miss Earth Fire 2019. She was also crowned as Miss New Model Magazine 2018 and is reigning Queen of the province of Los Ríos. Andrea is a high school graduate and aims to establish a career in Biotechnology. In 2018, she was a part of window telethon which raised funds for people with limited resources. The fund generated from the telethon was donated as a scholarship to 200 students. Andrea is an animal lover and is very kind and generous. She is beautiful and has a charming personality. Her goals, experience and intelligence can help her to be placed in the top 10 finalists.

Delary Stoffers Villon

Delary Stoffers Villon will represent Guayas in Miss World Ecuador 2020. She is 19-years-old and stands 179 cm tall. She is a student of Business Administration and is in the first year of her course. She has worked for the betterment of children suffering from cancer collaboratively with parades. Her future social work goal is to expand the spectrum of her work and help patients of all age groups. Delary is a firm believer and her hobbies include watching movies and dancing. She revealed that she often dances where she is alone in her room. Delary has a cute smile and an attractive body. Though she is not having any prior experience of pageantry, she still can make her way to the crown with her perseverance and skills.

Justeen Cruz Lara

Justeen Amberth Cruz Lara is 22-years-old and will represent Community of USA in Miss World Ecuador 2020. Justeen is not new to pageantry as she earlier participated in Miss Ecuador New Jersey in 2018 and was crowned. She hails from Guayaquil but is a resident of New Jersey. Graduating from Berkeley, Lara majors in interior designing and is in the final year of her course. Justeen is a professional make-up artist and has an excellent command over English language. She loves to play piano and as an artist loves to paint as well. She stepped into modelling when she was 20-years-old and has worked with several top-rated brands of New York. She works for women empowerment and has been a guide to many Latin women. She aims to motivate women to develop self-esteem and work for their own betterment. Also, she has expanded her social work in the schools and asylums of Ecuador.
