Marika Sera created history by being crowned as the youngest winner in the history at the finale of Miss World Japan 2019 held on 27th August 2019 at the Ana Intercontinental. Marika will now represent Japan in Miss World 2019 in London. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Japan 2018 Kanako Date.

The 16-year-old beauty is a High School student from Kanagawa who came out on top beating over 8000 people who applied. She awed the crowd with her elegance far beyond her high school age. Born to a Canadian father and Japanese mother, Marika is definitely a strong contender this year.
