Chantou Kwamboka crowned Miss World Kenya 2022

The finale of Miss World Kenya 2022 was held Two Rivers Mall on 10th December 2022 where Chantou Kwamboka was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss World Kenya 2021 Sharon Obara.

Chantou Kwamboka is the alumna of The Maseno University. The stunning Kenyan beauty was crowned by Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts Ababu Namwamba. This was Chantou’s second stint at the national pageant as she was adjudged first runner-up at Miss World Kenya 2021.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss World Kenya 2022 Chantou Kwamboka’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Wanjiku Kariuki

2nd Runner-up – Wabaiya Kariuki

On winning the national crown, Chantou took to her official social media to pen down her feelings as she wrote, “Last night was one for the books! I still haven't soaked it in all yet. I'm happy, blessed, grateful and highly favoured. I smile, cry and laugh all at the same time. This is truly a dream come true. I am completely grateful for how this journey has unfolded. For the overwhelming love and support, I will forever be indebted. We dream, God aligns for sure. I am honoured to be your new Queen. May God bless and oversee this new chapter.”

 

 

After being crowned as the Miss World Kenya 2022, Chantou was gifted KSh 500,000. She also got KSh 250,000 from Ashleys, which was one of the partners of the finale. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
