Saroop Roshi was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on Friday, 25th August 2023 at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Roshi is expected to represent her country at Miss World 2024.

Saroop Roshi is 24 years of age hails from Perak. She is a psychologist, model, and travel enthusiast who bested 13 other competitors to win the crown. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Malaysia 2022 Wenanita Angang.

Not new to the pageantry, Saroop competed at Miss Grand Malaysia where she placed as the first runner-up and was adjudged Miss Global Malaysia 2019. She has also started a community organization ‘Unmask Yourself’ which is dedicated to suicide prevention by advocating to save lives through hope, support, and education.

The newly crowned Miss World Malaysia 2023 Saroop Roshi’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Natalie Ang Ai Dee

2nd Runner-up – Chai Shu Wen

Top 6 finalists also included Vaishnavi Siva Kumar, Adlyn Jayne Andrew, and Ellesha Meschille.

Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland was also present at the national competition as a special guest. Miss World Malaysia 2022 Wenanita Angang is currently preparing to represent Malaysia at Miss World 2023.

Miss World 2023, the 71st edition of Miss World, is scheduled to be held in India on 9th December 2023 where Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
