The finale of Miss World Singapore 2022 was held on 10th September 2022 at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Mediacorp where Oh Wei Qi was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Singapore at Miss World 2022.

Oh Wei Qi is 23 years of age and an artist and entrepreneur. She succeeds Miss World Singapore 2021 Khailing Ho. On winning the national crown, Oh Wei took to her official social media as she wrote, Everything feels so surreal to me, it feels like a dream. Last year I joined Miss World Singapore 2021 and emerged as one of the top 6, with best hair and people’s choice award. It was my first pageant experience and definitely one that taught me the beauty of Miss World and the possibilities I can do to give back to the society.”

“Taught me that it’s not just the title that matters but also what you do with the title. It showed me that my dreams are not as far fetched as it seems if I am not willing to give up. Riding on that mentality, I decided to give it another try at Miss World Singapore 2022 with @seanwfw and @adelynevelvet kind words at @hyperlive.tv . This time round with a more grounded mind and confidence”, she added.

Also crowned at the same event were Miss Intercontinental Singapore 2022 Gerlyn Cheah and Miss Globe Singapore 2022 Saranya Chyenne. They will compete in Miss Intercontinental and The Miss Globe pageants respectively. The reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska graced the event as a special guest.
