The biennially held Miss Vietnam has been crowning and appointing delegates that were being sent to represent Vietnam in Miss World, Miss International as well as Miss Grand International. But this year, the tables have turned as Sen Vàng Entertainment has launched Miss World Vietnam, a pageant that will select Vietnam’s representative for Miss World.

The organization will start looking for candidates through auditions and interviews and they have given out the rules and regulations that the aspirants have to check before entering. The winner of Miss World Vietnam 2019 will earn the right to represent the nation in the prestigious Miss World 2019 competition to be held later this year.

The terms and conditions to be followed before entering the Miss World Vietnam competition are as follow -

1. The participants in the contest should be Vietnamese female citizens aged 18 to 27 (calculated according to the year of birth recorded in the birth certificate).

2. They should have good morality

3. Must be a natural beauty

4. Must have no prior criminal record

5. Must be unmarried (Not having married in the past, not having registered for marriage and not living with anyone like husband and wife)

6. Must not have given birth.

7. Must be a high school graduate at least by the time the Final Round officially begins.

8. Minimum height should 165 cm

9. Must never have gone under plastic surgery

10. Must never have gone through sex change operation

It is being said that the organization will be accepting applications from all over the world, and a total of 30 delegates will be selected for the semi-finale. These contestants will be judged on the basis of their performance in the traditional costume, swimsuit, question-and-answer and evening wear rounds. Many special awards will also be given to them on the basis of their talent and dedication to charity work.
