Monica Sembiring crowned Miss Indonesia 2024

Monica Sembring was crowned Miss Indonesia 2024 in a dazzling ceremony held at the Jakarta Convention Center. The event, which began at on Wednesday, May 29, at 4:30pm, was attended by a host of celebrities, dignitaries, and enthusiastic supporters.

Monica, representing North Sumatra, captivated the judges and audience with her poise, intelligence, and charisma. The 23-year-old law graduate from the University of Indonesia impressed in all segments of the competition, including the evening gown, talent showcase, and Q&A session. Her eloquent responses and dedication to social causes set her apart from the other contestants.



The glittering event was hosted by renowned Indonesian television personalities, and featured performances by top artists, adding to the evening's glamour. Monica received the crown from her predecessor, Jessica Fitriana, Miss Indonesia 2023, amidst cheers and applause.
