Morgan took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “For as long as I can remember I have looked up to the reining Miss Nebraska. She was poised, articulate, talented and cared deeply about making an impact in her community. I dreamed of one day performing on the Miss Nebraska stage. Profoundly aware of the big shoes to fill, I’m humbled to receive the job of Miss Nebraska.”

“I can’t wait to travel across our great state advocating for mentoring and serving the community. If I make even a fraction of the impact on Nebraska like the women before me, I will have done my job. This year is for all those who dream big and dare greatly! All glory to Him! We’re going to the 100th Anniversary of Miss America”, she added.
