Myriam Arévalos is the new Miss Universe Paraguay 2015, and she will now represent Paraguay at the sixty-fourth edition of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant; after the original representative, Laura Garcete, was dethroned.
As per the rumours are concerned, Laura Leticia Garcete Riveros lost her title of Miss Universe Paraguay 2015 and was dethroned by Promociones Gloria (the owner of the franchise for Miss Universe for Paraguay and Reina Hispanoamericana) due to her pregnancy.
Myriam Arévalos has previously competed in Miss World 2014 pageant held in London, but remained unplaced. She was supposed to compete at the Miss Earth this year.
Now, as she has been appointed to represent Paraguay in Miss Universe 2015; 21 years old, Andrea Melgarejo will compete in the Miss Earth 2015 pageant in Vienna, Austria on December 5.
22 years old Myriam is a Paraguayan model from Paraguay, who after winning the crown of Miss Mundo Paraguay at Nuestra Belleze Paraguay 2014 competition, competed at Miss United Continents 2015 and ended up as the first runner-up.
Prior to Miss Paraguay, she won a bunch of pageants such as Reina de Turismo Paraguay 2012, which gave her the right to represent Paraguay at Miss Turismo Universo 2014, held in Ecuador, where she clinched the prime title.
Standing tall at a height of 5’11”, the beauty queen is also known by the name, ‘Myriamchi’. She is also associated with NGO’s such as TECHO. Do you think Miriam can be the next Misss Universe?
