Femina Miss India Organisation made an official announcement about a replacement at the 2016 Femina Miss India pageant. On March 9’ 2016, the organisation unveiled the names of the 21 finalists for Miss World India 2016, but it seems like one of them is already out of race.
As per the announcement by the Femina Miss India Organisation on its Facebook Official page on Friday (March 11’ 2016), Namrata Sheth will no longer be competing for the coveted crown. However, the reasons have not yet been revealed and it is being considered a personal matter of choice. There has been no official confirmation by Namrata either.

Nazneen Shaikh has replaced Namrata Sheth as the new contestant for the title of Femina Miss India 2016. Nazneen was among the finalists of Campus Princess 2016.
