Natriana Shorter crowned as Miss Oregon USA 2016

Natriana Shorter has been crowned as the Miss Oregon USA 2016 at the finals held on November 29’ 2016 at Mt.Hood Community College Theater Gresham,Oregon. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Bridget Wilmes. Natriana will now represent Oregon at the Miss USA 2016 pageant.

24 years old Natriana is a resident of Eugene, Oregon. Natriana is a junior at New Hope Christian College and is studying Business Management & Leadership. She wants to be a business owner and a motivational speaker someday. Nataria is an active participant of the Eugene Lunchtime Mentor Program and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.

At the same event, Stephanie Matheson was adjudged first runner-up, Elizabeth Denny was titled second runner-up, Evelyn Clark was adjudged third runner-up and Kayla Knock finished as fourth runner-up.

Oregon’s highest placement at the Miss USA was in the year 1976 when Gail Atchison finished as second runner-up. The state has only managed to get placed ten times in the history of the pageant. Oregon has two Miss Congeniality titles - Denise White in at Miss USA 1994 and Gabrielle Neilan at Miss USA 2013.
