Ninoska Vásquez from Lara crowned as Miss Earth Venezuela 2017

The magnificent finale of Miss Earth Venezuela 2017 held last night concluded with the crowning of Ninoska Vásquez Alvarez from Lara as the winner. Miss Earth Venezuela 2017 was the first edition of Miss Earth Venezuela pageant, finale whereof was held on August 20' 2017 at the Intercontinental Tamanaco Hotel in Caracas, Venezuela.

Ninoska Vásquez is 24 years of age and stands tall at 170 cm, and is not new to pageantry having won the title of Miss Tourism Universe in 2014. She will now represent Venezuela in Miss Earth 2017 to be held in Manila (Philippines) on November 4' 2017. Ninoska succeeds Stephanie De Zorzi, who was appointed as Miss Earth Venezuela 2016 and also won the title of Miss Earth Water 2016 in the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

Twenty-six beauties from various states of the country competed for the title and the privilege to represent Venezuela in Miss Earth 2017.

At the same event, Luisa Cristina Núñez from Nueva Esparta was crowned Miss Earth - Air Venezuela 2017, Luisiary Albarrán from Mérida was crowned Miss Earth - Water Venezuela 2017 and Michelle Barone from Cojedes was crowned Miss Earth - Fire Venezuela 2017.

Top 7 finalists also included Krizia Sánchez, María Daniela Velasco, and Vanessa Trasolini.

The judging panel included well-known beauty queens Alexandra Braun (Miss Earth 2005), Nina Sicilia Hernández (Miss International 1985) and Claudia Suárez (Miss World Venezuela 2006).
