For Philippines, 2019 was not an impressive year, at least not as much as the pageant fanatics hoped, as the country failed to win a crown or a runner-up position in the major big 4 international pageants for the first time since 2007. With a lot of expectations that were laid on the beauty queens who represented Philippines at various international pageants, it seemed like the beauties ran out of luck but not of dedication and hard work.
While all these Filipina beauties did an incredible job of representing their country at respective pageants, there were a few who made a lasting impact even if they could not bring a crown home or even win a national representation. So without further ado, here are the Top 10 Filipina beauties in a decreasing order, in our opinion, of 2019 –
#10 Resham Ramirez Saeed
Resham Ramirez Saeed represented Philippines at Miss Supranational 2019 after she gained the right by winning the national title at Binibining Pilipinas 2019. At 25 years of age and standing 173 cm tall, this Pakistani-Filipina diva won over our hearts with her beauty and grace at the contest. Resham placed in the Top 25 at the Miss Supranational 2019 contest showing her hard work and determination towards her craft.

#9 Emma Mary Tiglao
Emma Tiglao represented Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2019 as she won the right by winning the national title at Binibining Pilipinas 2019. Carrying so much of prior experience in the pageantry, Emma surely made an impact in the international stage as well as she placed in the Top 20. She also won Miss Sunrise Popularity and Miss May Care awards as well.

#8 Samantha Mae Bernardo
Samantha Bernardo tried her luck yet again 2019 in Binibining Pilipinas 2019 as she placed as the second runner-up. She received the same recognition in 2018, the year Catriona Gray was crowned Miss Universe 2018. Second runners-up in Binibining Pilipinas normally do not get to represent the country in international pageants unless they have to replace other title holders or due to other special circumstances. Samantha has shown incredible improvement and in 2019 she definitely was full of power.

#7 Janelle Lazo Tee
Janelle Tee represented Philippines in Miss Earth 2019 as she won the right by winning Miss Earth Philippines 2019. With her incredible performance, she placed in the Top 20 at Miss Earth 2019. She promoted health care at the pageant and was definitely a strong contender. She represented Filipina beauty, courage and determination at an international level.

#6 Leren Mae Bautista
Leren Mae Bautista won the right to represent Philippines in Miss Globe 2019 as she won the title of Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019 in Binibining Pilipinas 2019. She is no stranger to the pageant world and proved that with her stunning performance in Miss Globe 2019 and placing as the second runner-up. She also promoted her advocacy against bullying at the contest. An epitome of beauty and grace, Leren gave a fabulous performance at Miss Globe 2019.

#5 Kayesha Chua
Shortly after her stint in Miss World Philippines 2019, Kayesha Chua won the right to represent Philippines in Miss Asia Awards 2019. At the international contest, she gave a stunning performance at the international stage and stunned everyone with her beauty and grace. She was also awarded Best in National Costume in a creation made by Patrick Isorena. Kayesha holds a lot of experience in the national pageants and was one of the few Filipina beauties who held a crown in 2019.

#4 Cyrille Payumo
Cyrille Payumo won the right to represent Philippines in Miss Tourism International 2019 as she participated in Mutya Pilipinas 2019 and replaced Tyra Goldman as the representative just weeks before the international competition. In just three weeks, Cyrille prepared herself for the stint and won the crown for her country. She never gave up and kept fighting for the crown and emerged victorious.

#3 Bea Patricia Magtanong
Bea Patricia Magtanong represented Philippines in Miss International 2019 as she won the right by winning Binibining Pilipinas International 2019 title. With her incredible performance, Bea placed in the Top 8 and impressed everyone with her beauty and compassion. Not just a beauty queen, Bea is also a lawyer and model who showed great promise in 2019.

#2 Michelle Marquez Dee
A Filipino actress, athlete, model and Tv Presenter, Michelle Dee was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 and went on to represent Philippines in Miss World 2019. After last year, a lot of pressure rode on her shoulders and Michelle lived up to it as she placed in the Top 12 with her beauty, compassion and grace. With so many accomplishments under her belt, Michelle proved that she rose her country’s flag high at the competition. In 2019, Michelle played ‘Gianna’ in Because I Love You making her debut in movies.

#1 Gazini Ganados
Gazini Ganados won the right to represent Philippines in Miss Universe 2019 as she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2019. Being the national winner, Gazini prepared herself well for the international stint and with her incredible performance, she placed in the Top 20. After Catriona Gray’s successful reign, there were a lot of expectations from the Filipina beauty and numerous hearts broke when she did not move up the ladder after Top 20. Nevertheless, her performance was incredible and she deserved all the praises and applause.
