Philippines’ hattrick of top placements at Miss Eco International

Philippines has been referred to as a powerhouse of pageantry because of the scintillating and confident beauty queens who have raised the country’s flag high at various international pageants. In the last three years, the country has shown dominance at Miss Eco International as well winning top placements.

 

 

In 2018, Cynthia Thomalla raised her Filipina flag high as she not only impressed everyone with her beauty and charm, she also won the Miss Eco International 2018 crown. Cynthia became the first Asian to win the international crown who bared her advocacy for sustainable tourism and responsible traveling at the competition.

Cynthia rose to fame when she participated at Miss World Philippines 2017. A look-alike of Hollywood star Anne Hathaway, Cynthia showcases the essence of being a true beauty queen. Thomalla is also a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

 

 

Next year in 2019, Philippines sent Maureen Montagne at Miss Eco International 2019 where she placed as the first runner-up with her incredible performance. From Taguig City, Maureen is a host and a model by profession and is of an American and Filipina heritage. Before winning the runner-up position at Miss Eco International 2019, Maureen was earlier adjudged as the first runner-up at Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013 and later she was crowned as Miss Arizona USA 2015. This year, Kelley Day represented Philippines at Miss Eco International 2021 and was a front-runner for the crown ever since the beginning of the competition. Winning the National Costume Competition at the preliminary competition and then bagging the first runner-up award, Kelley definitely made her country proud. Kelley is a Filipino-British beauty who stands 170 cm tall.

These three ladies have made Philippines incredibly proud with their stellar performances. Before 2018, in 2017, Ramona Yamat represented Philippines at Miss Eco International 2017 and placed in the Top 20 as a semi-finalist. The country has sure shown that it dominates the pageantry with rigorous training offered to these divas and pageants taken seriously in the country.
