Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is extremely excited to join Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in her Department of Tourism tour in Philippines. Pia will be joining Demi-Leigh and her fellow Miss Universe 2017 sisters at a dinner function and also at a charity ball fashion show, featuring many Pinoy designers.
Expressing her joy she said, “Yes, I am so excited. I think we really like that Demi’s first trip is here in the Philippines.”
“I am going to be part of a dinner and a fashion show, but the rest they can enjoy touring and I will be promoting my upcoming movie. I’ll just play around and have some fun; I am not really a perfect host,” Pia further talked about her plans.
Just recently, in the middle of an “Ask Miss Universe” Twitter event, newly crowned Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa admitted that the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach is among her favourite Miss Universe winners. “I adore all previous winners but I really fell in love with Pia Wurtzbach after she won, and I love her reign,” she tweeted.
In the meantime, Pia has been busy promoting her movie by Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla, "Gandarrappido: The Revenger Squad". She has also been busy with her TV show ‘It’s Showtime’ where she plays a guest co-host.
The lovely girls of Miss Universe 2017, including Rachel Peters of Philippines and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere have already arrived in Philippines and were spotted leading a wreath-laying ceremony at the Rizal monument in Manila on Wednesday morning. They all will be involved in various events to promote Philippines tourism in their 4 days visit.
